The expansion strengthens Aquity’s position as the only provider of medical scribing services to leverage client EHR clinical documentation

Aquity Solutions India, a leader in outsourced medical documentation services, has expanded its service offerings to include virtual medical scribes. The company which already employs more than 120 scribes at its Hyderabad and Coimbatore locations have now expanded its scribe operations at their Mumbai office.

The Mumbai virtual scribing service expansion follows the launch of their scribe business in Hyderabad in August 2017, and Coimbatore in March 2019. Virtual medical scribes enter visit information directly into a healthcare provider’s electronic health record EHR system based on listening to the encounter interaction between patients and their physicians, as well as any follow-up instructions dictated by the provider.

Seen as a replacement for traditional medical transcription, in addition to documenting basic diagnosis and procedure information, scribes prepare lab orders, prescriptions, and other patient care details for the physician to review and sign, allowing doctors to stay focussed on their patients while simultaneously improving the overall quality of the documentation.

The Mumbai office expansion strengthens Aquity’s position as the only provider of medical scribing services to leverage client EHR clinical documentation with the company’s award-winning suite of technologies. Together, they improve clinical and financial outcomes as well as patient and physician satisfaction by eliminating documentation distractions during the patient encounter. The scribing services solution compliments the MT EHR-integrated clinical documentation portfolio of front-end speech recognition, back-end transcription, mobile documentation, and CAPD software applications.
