About 500 school children, general public, paramedical staff as well as doctors from other specialities are expected to attend this day-long event

The Department of Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is celebrating the National Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Day on July 15. The programme will be inaugurated by Koyal Rana, Femina Miss India 2014 along with Ashok Chandra, Chairman, Trust Society, and Prof (Dr) DS Rana, Chairman, Board of Management-Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Dr Suresh Gupta, Emeritus Consultant & Founder of Department of Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery will be felicitated for his contribution to this department for the last 50 years. Dr Mahesh Mangal, Chairman, Department of Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery will give the welcome address.

About 500 school children, general public, paramedical staff as well as doctors from other specialities are expected to attend this day-long event. The aim of these events is to familiarise and sensitise the general public regarding various sub-specialities of plastic surgery and to clear the various myths surrounding this super-specialty. The specially designed posters and lectures will help the general public to clear their doubts regarding various plastic surgical procedures.

Dr Mangal says, “This year we are celebrating this day with number of events including lectures, interactive sessions and poster gallery. The aim of these events is to familiarise and sensitise the general public regarding various sub specialities of plastic surgery and to clear the various myths surrounding this super-speciality. The specially designed posters and lectures will help the general public to clear their doubts regarding various plastic surgical procedures.”
