Vikram Hospital announced the appointment of distinguished orthopaedic surgeons, Dr Chandramouli B and Dr Bopanna IC to further bolster the hospital’s orthopaedic wing and provide world-class orthopaedic treatment at their flagship hospital on Millers road.

With over 14 years of experience and over 2000 joint replacement surgeries to his credit, Dr Chandramouli B is a well known and a highly regarded figure in the medical fraternity. The canvas of his work includes some of the most difficult, complicated and deformed joint correction surgeries in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi and Chandigarh. Dr Bopanna is a Trauma and Joint Replacement surgeon with over 20 years of experience covering the entire spectrum of orthopaedics.

Dr Chandramouli completed his MS Orthopaedics from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and went on to serve as a Registrar of Orthopaedic Surgery in the Government Medical Hospital Chandigarh (GMCH). He was associated with Bengaluru’s Hosmat Hospital and Apollo Hospitals for several years. He has been a regular participant at CMEs held by National Faculties on Joint Replacement Surgery across the country.

Dr Bopanna completed his MBBS from Karnataka Medical College (now known as Karnataka Institute of Medical Science) in 1986, and MS Orthopaedics from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Gulbarga, in 1992. He was associated with the CSI Hospital Bengaluru since 1993 as Senior Consultant– Orthopaedic Trauma and Joint Replacement Surgeon. He has also served as a visiting consultant with Bangalore’s Zion Hospital & Research Centre and Santosh Hospital.
