NIC suggested uploading the proposed e-hospital software for NDMC on its cloud services
With an aim of improving patient care and operational efficiency at its health centres, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has approached the National Informatics Centre (NIC) for configuration of e-hospital portal in its healthcare units. NIC suggested to upload the proposed e-hospital software for NDMC on its cloud services.
“E-hospital shall enable NDMC to deliver healthcare services in more effective and efficient way. This will help NDMC to achieve the ultimate organisational goal of a satisfied and improved provider and recipient of healthcare. “Further, it will also help administrators in NDMC area to exercise an enhanced monitoring and control over the functioning of hospitals and dispensaries under its jurisdiction,” NDMC spokesperson Jagjivan Bakshi said.
The civic body chairman Naresh Kumar along with other officials had attended a video conferencing organised by NIC and deliberated upon different modules and configuration required in the software with its experts in India.
