IML names Sundar Rajan as its CEO
Rajan has earlier worked in open access publishing in medical research
Institute of Medicine and Law (IML) has appointed Sunder Rajan as its Chief Executive Officer.
Speaking on behalf of IML, Mahendra Bajpai, Director, IML said, “We are happy that a professional of a high caliber is joining us to lead the organisation. IML is at a critical juncture of expansion and Sunder Rajan has been selected after careful evaluation of several candidates. We are a premier MedLegal company and intend to expand quickly, both in our offerings and extending our footprint globally.”
Rajan said, “I am excited to take on the challenge. Medical Negligence is a hot subject and IML is already a leader in providing information and services to healthcare professionals. There is a critical need to step up and provide clarity, assurance and direction to both healthcare providers and patients on the correct interpretation and application of the law. I intend to launch more products and services for hospitals as well. Shortly, we will also extend our portfolio to the international market.”
