With support from MCG, the centre is equipped to handle 150 samples
Healthians has launched three drive thru corona testing sites in Gurgaon. The first centre was launched at Tau Devilal Stadium, Rajiv Chowk. Other sites to be launched shortly include Parking of leisure valley ground, Sector-29 and Sadar Bazar ground opposite police line Gurugram in phase 1.
The company has developed and launched the required infrastructure within 48 hours of approval from MCG. Healthians will be extending the service to all private labs, that require the infrastructure to support their patients.
Drive thru testing offers no contact, safe testing, and one such centre has been launched in Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh, a few days back.
“Testing has been at the forefront of all strategies that have been employed by the nation in fighting novel coronavirus. With adequate testing, we should be able to identify the hotspots and control this virus, and we hope to contribute a little for bringing life back to normalcy for people of Gurugram,” said Deepak Sahni, Founder and CEO, Healthians.
Drive thru sample collection for Covid-19 will be performed by skilled technicians as per the guidelines and will be processed in the labs approved by ICMR. The results will be made available in 48 hours.
“We are thankful to Municipal Corporation of Gurugram for giving us an opportunity to serve the society at large. The drive thru collection centres are equipped to conduct 150 tests per day and capacities can be doubled in 48 hours if needed. We are doing trial runs today and the centre will soon be opened for citizens along with detailed instructions for booking and the process for getting tested will be shared,” Deepak added.
