The health camp was conducted under the supervision of yoga experts, certified general physicians, dentists, nurses and paramedics. The team was well equipped with all the necessary devices like BP apparatus, glucometer, glucostrips, needles, spirit, cotton, medicines etc.

With the camp situated in Subhash Nagar, New Delhi, Curofy provided treatment to around 1000 people. Also, with this, it aimed to make basic healthcare accessible among people within the city.

Speaking about the campaign, Dr Chintan Chaudhary, Consultant Gynaecology, said, “A free medical camp was organised by Curofy on April 7, 2019 to celebrate World Health Day 2019 at Subhash Nagar. I including many other doctors got the opportunity to be part of this cause. It was indeed a good experience to provide free consultations apart from our regular work affair to underprivileged patients from various domains of the medical field such as ophthalmology, gynaecology, general health, dental, and ayurveda. I would request Curofy to keep organising such camps for the betterment of the general public and giving doctors a chance to be part of the noble cause.”

With every passing World Health Day, health conditions are gradually improving in India. These days, there are various health-tech platforms for doctors and patients which are increasing the competition in the healthcare space and try their best to maintain the position. The increased dependency on technology is driving the growth of the industry in India, thereby expecting the industry to grow rapidly.

“On World Health Day, we are proud to organise this camp and provide the patients of this area access to some of the top doctors of NCR. It is our mission to improve the healthcare of the country and the camp is a small step in that direction. We will keep on working hard to achieve our vision of healthcare for all Indians”, says Pawan Gupta, Co-Founder, Curofy.

Access to healthcare has been one of the major concerns for our country and with this step Curofy targeted to contribute its services to those who are needy irrespective of any kind of discrimination. It aimed to help the people with quality services without facing any financial difficulties.

Curofy, being one such startup where doctors can get a spam-free and secure environment to communicate with each other has always tried to bring betterment for the society and organising a medical camp was an extremely positive action on their part.
