Dr NK Pandey, Chairman and MD, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences receives Padma Shri award
Dr NK Pandey, Chairman and MD of Asian Institute of Medical Sciences has been conferred with the Padma Shri award, by Pranab Mukherjee, President of India for his distinguished contribution in the field of healthcare.
“I’m deeply humbled by the honour conferred on me by the President of India, but I also recognise the responsibility of living up to this honour by redoubling my efforts to further improve the healthcare sector in our country,” said Dr Pandey.
An alumnus of Patna Medical College, Dr Pandey has contributed immensely to healthcare and medical education over the past five decades and is amongst the most decorated medical professionals of the country. He has a vast and varied experience servicing the healthcare sector and has held various prestigious positions during his tenure.
