Wolters Kluwer India appoints Harish Ramachandran as Country Head

Wolters Kluwer has appointed Harish Ramachandran as Country Head – India and SAARC, for the Clinical Effectiveness division.

Prior to his appointment at Wolters Kluwer, Harish was heading Connected Care at Philips, Africa, in the capacity of Business, Marketing and Sales Lead. He has extensively worked in the Medical Equipment space and has held various senior leadership roles at Philips India and also has an experience of working with GE Healthcare in the past.

With more than two decades of experience in leadership roles in the healthcare industry including medical equipment, medical devices, and pharma sector, Harish’s appointment will be instrumental in understanding the inter-disciplinary dynamics and strategies going forward for Wolters Kluwer.

In his current role, Harish will be responsible for building upon the businesses that cater to the critical aspects of quality care through clinical effectiveness. He will also be navigating through the healthcare delivery centres across India and its neighbouring countries to sensitise and support business for Evidence-Based Medicine, with the application of the best and latest knowledge pool for clinicians across public and private hospitals.

With his in-depth understanding in quality care and clinical effectiveness, Harish will play an integral role in positioning Wolters Kluwer’s solutions and services for ongoing success within a rapidly- evolving clinical research environment as well as driving adoption of Clinical Decision Support System to improve quality of care and provide personalised treatment.

Harish holds a post graduate diploma in business administration programme from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning and has pursued his graduation in Microbiology from Bangalore University.
