Lifecell, in association with Seven Hills Hospital, celebrated ‘Mommies Day Out’ at Seven Hills Hospitals, Andheri. The event was aimed to provide opportunity for expected mothers to learn and know about the changes they undergo in pregnancy. Reportedly, more than 100 expecting mothers assembled for this event.

Industry experts Sonali Shivlani, Executive Director, Cappa INDIA; Preeti Nambiar, Image consultant, Ahantva and Amit Shah, Coach & Marketing Head for Infant Siddha Program, were the speakers for the occasion. They elaborated and discussed on the journey of pregnancy, the utmost care needed in terms of proper diet, meditation, exercise. Special emphasis given to music mediation, breathing technic, and sleeping position.

Mommies day out was an educative event that introduced parents to new concepts and ideas about pregnancy care and motherhood. A host of topics were covered, there were interactive workshops and live demonstrations.

The workshop conducted by ISP took moms into a meditative state along with the positive affirmations that really helped moms to feel very positive and engerised. The techniques taught by them would help the moms in the further to overcome the stress. There were other workshops to like introduction to parenting and the couples danced to different tunes of music.

The hospital conducted session that enlightens parents on painless labour. The session conducted by Lifecell on umbilical stemcell banking and the importance to store the same for the baby’s health. The parents were also briefed about the science of preserving stem and the importance of umbilical cord that could help cure almost 70 lifestyle diseases.

Shivlani educated parents the do’s and don’ts of pregnancy. She shared tips on how to remain healthy during pregnancy by with guiding them through better diet & nutrition options. She simplied the workshop on labour pain management to make the expectant mother to understand better and work towards being fit during pregnancy followed by few easy steps to start with.

Styling is not just about appearance but it is a complete science that has a great impact on the body, mind and soul”, said Nambiar, who conducted a workshop on styling and gave an overview on colour management, do’s and don’ts of styling and aspects as how the moms should feel confident about the baby bump and were clothes that would make them feel positive charged.

A ramp walk showcased the mothers in a totally different avatar, stylish, elegant and confident to embrace their future legacy. The winners were judged by for confidence, style, dressing, body language and Q&A round. First three winners received merchandise and service worth Rs 10,000 up to 35,000.
