Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad has received Green OT (Green Operation Theatre) certification by Bureau Veritas Certification. The hospital has successfully completed the Green OT Certification process against the 45 standards specified by Bureau Veritas.

Seventy five of India’s top private hospitals had enrolled to undergo Green OT Certification process, which requires a collaborative month long effort from all the levels and departments like quality control, biomedical, purchase, and anaesthesia. Green OT Certification is an independent third party assessment by Bureau Veritas in context of the processes and protocols being followed inside operating room. Green OT certification is an effective reassurance for the patients regarding safe and healthy practices being followed inside operating rooms.

Presenting the certificate, CS Chauhan, Certification Manager North said, “Till date, we have given the certificate to 27 hospitals all across the country but Asian Institute of Medical Sciences has scored the maximum marks which is 98 per cent.”

Commenting on the certification, Dr NK Pandey, Chairman and Managing Director, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences said, “It gives me the immense satisfaction that we are the first hospital in the Faridabad district to receive this certification. The operation theatre environment plays a pivotal role in reducing the risk of post operative infections.
