Dr Dwarkanath, on the occasion, said, “With the kind of increase seen in the number of people with related lifestyle disorders of diabetes, obesity etc., the numbers of healthcare practitioners is not scaling up in proportion to provide the right treatment to these increasing numbers. Such scientific sessions and CMEs help all of us in the medical fraternity to come together and align on better treatment protocols for patients.”

The series of seminars, starting with ambulatory glucose profiling has been commence with an aim to impart education and know-how on improved patient care, incorporating the latest in technology.

Dr Raja Selvarajan commented, “Introduction of new technologies such as ambulatory glucose profiling, takes us one step closer in extending the effective, evidence-based diabetes management solutions, to the people. How this is important is that, for appropriate patients it provides new, deeper insights to the doctors and related experts, who are then better equipped to provide not only better and accurate treatment but also guide to a care solution, apt for the patients.”
